Chapel Mission Offerings for 2011/2012

  • Thank you to everyone who gave to our chapel offerings for the 1st semester! You've helped the mission work in Thailand. We will let you know soon how much money we will be sending to Thailand.
  • We will be giving our mission offerings from the 2nd semester to Partners in Apache Learning (PAL). The WELS has 2 elementary schools on Apache land in Arizona, and PAL is very important in keeping both schools in operation. It's a blessing for Apache children to learn about their Savior at school just like our children do. Keep PAL in your prayers, and let's help them financially this semester!

St John School Alumni Reunion
A Special Committee has been formed to plan and organize an All- School Alumni Reunion this coming fall to celebrate the 140th anniversary of the school's opening. We are looking for volunteers to help with Alumni Contacts, decorations, table set-up, dinner coordinator/helpers, entertainment, photography, and clean-up. Contact Tony Wimmer, president of St. John Lutheran Church, if you would like to be on this committee or to be a helper. Our biggest challenge is making the alumni contacts, so if you can help with that, it would be very much appreciated.
